Le Grá Vineyard and Winery - Ōpaki
As our family grows, becomes stronger and more experienced in wine, so does our Le Grá story. The labels will keep growing yearly with every vintage, adding a ring to our vine, and so adding another tale to our story.
When we decided to come home to the Wairarapa we wanted to find something we could put all our effort into and see the fruits of our labour come to bear – we think we have found it in Le Grá vineyard and winery. We love working together outdoors, have an appreciation for great food and drink and enjoy meeting people to share in new experiences – it’s a match made in heaven.

Very interesting learning about the winery history and story. Nicky and Brian were incredibly lovely hosts, highly recommend stopping by here.

My friends and I spent a beautiful afternoon at Le Gra Vineyard and Winery. A huge thanks to Brian for his beautiful hospitality and humour. We loved and felt your heart and passion for Le Gra in your stories. Nicky, it was most unfortunate we didn't get to meet thank you for the platter it was delicious.
We will definitely return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of wine and platters with my friends. Nicky and Brian are so welcoming. The tasting room and surrounds are picturesque. Our grazing platter was on point! A great selection of local cheeses, home made preserves, crackers plus so much more. The merlot marinated mushrooms were my favourite! Our wine was beautiful too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I met Brian at his lovely little vineyard for a quick tasting. His wine is lovely and the bottle I bought for a special occasion has gone already. There is a nice selection of preserves as well.
I see there is accommodation as well. This would be a great place for a stop over on the way home from any Wellington functions if going north. I highly recommend you meet Brian and learn about his winery.
