The cafe / restaurant overlooks the winery on our premises and the stunning Tararua Ranges providing the perfect setting for all occasions. Enjoy our tasty new menu and delicious local wines.

We are available to open 7 days a week to cater for Functions, Weddings, Business Conferences, Birthdays and other events at Wingate Lane.
Bookings can be made in advance to cater small or large groups for up to 80 guests.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So disappointed by todays lunch. We have enjoyed many an evening meal here with lovely food and great service. Today we booked in at 12pm for 9 people so we could impress our family from down south. The food took an hour and a half from ordering to being served, one of our party was diabetic and was really needing to food long before that. When our meals finally arrived the fish was overcooked and dry and one of the fish meals had a hair cooked into the fish normally we would have sent this straight back to the kitchen but considering we had already waited so long that person didn't eat the fish (we didn't pay for that meal) Some more communication would have been good if there was going to be delays . The waitress did the best job she could and was apologetic for circumstances that where out of her control. Overall we came away with our guests very disappointed.
