★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought an OLED tv from an LG authorised service provider. It failed within 2 weeks, 6 months later I have a court order for a full refund plus a warrant to enforce the order, but still no refund. Despite this LG still supports the firm namely Icon Concepts. It is very concerning that LG New Zealand allows such operators to continue operating under their name.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ LG’s approved reseller/authorized repairer has been ordered via the courts to pay me just under $1000.
The court Bailiff is now appointed to assess their assets as they will not follow NZ law and fulfill their obligation to pay me.
Why is LG supporting and aligning with Consumer Law criminals that are DESTROYING brand credibility?
These ‘Icon Concepts 2012 LTD’ criminals ARE destroying your LOYAL customers which is sad.
I previously thought highly of your ‘Life is Good’ campaign.
Myself and many other hard working ‘Kiwis’ hope that you distance yourself from these thief’s.
Trademe has kicked them off their auction site, LG needs to show it is an ethical company and do the same.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We bought 19 units of LG tvs at the end of 2018, with standard 12 months warranty.
however, 2 units died prematurely (faulty power supply) in the first week of the lockdown (April 2020).
LG was kind enough to pay for the repair cost for us.
What a great after sale service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Agree with the comments below - try their website for a lesson in frustration. They won't accept my password to sign up and register a product even tho it meets their specs. No-one on their live chat or email response seems to have a clue what I'm talking about. Impossible and wish I had read these reviews and stuck with Samsung. First and last LG product for me. The oled tv is nothing like the clear picture in the shop as freeview doesn't support 4K - no better than LED or LCD so save your money people or go for Qled by Samsung. Worst customer service ever - don't know how they continue to get away with it.

Bought washer and dryer, still under warranty, their technician decline warranty stating its user fault, maching leaking water n seal split itself due to bad quality seal of washer. M super gutted worst customer service i ever seen, shd hv bought fisher n paykel thy r best whn it comes to customer service n looking after customers. 0 stars from me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ LG is by far the worst consumer company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. We purchased a brand new washing machine from them and it broke within a week. After agonisingly going through their call centre they pawned us off to a service repair company who couldn’t fix the issue now LG is just pushing our case back, randomly closing it for no reason, not calling us back. Not to mention they are horribly rude on the phone. DO NOT BUY LG
