★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there to find the availability of particular medicine and their was an asian lady serving the customers, when asked about the medicine and showed the picture of that as, had a pic in my phone to know about the availability and price, that lady straight away saw the pic and said ohh no we can't match the price, even though didn't went there with that mindset and never asked for that. Felt weird and came out from the shop without buying. Please change your perception towards customers not every customer is there for price match. Someone genuinely needs something and that time price doesn't matter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in for a vaccination that I had pre called for twice to confirm that I was coming at 5pm and was told at 4:55pm that they were unable to do so when I walked in as they would like to rap up around 5pm this is the 3rd time I have pre called and it isn’t good enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What I saw today was horrific, one of the staff harassing a young lady who had 2 young children in the store, seemed she was telling the poor lady to watch her kids going so far as to say to her that one of the children was snotty nosed and this was dripping on a fluffy toy !!
The lady had been waiting for a prescription, and clearly and rightfully so upset at this unprofessional abusive staff member.
This is NOT acceptable, I'm reluctant to give this place 1 Star, if I could I would give it a -5!!!
Absolutely shocking service!!
I DO NOT recommend this place at all, and will be letting everyone on social media know as well !!

I dropped in for a quick purchase on November 29 - it's a large store with lots of staff and a helpful staff member helped me to find what i was looking for.
But they could not sell it to me as for some unknown reason only one till was logged in and the person on that was bogged down with something complex. They did apologies and asked others in the shop for a working till but they were all logged off and no one seemed to know how to log them in.
After waiting 10 minutes there was no indication of the complex transaction being resolved so I gave up and had to find another pharmacy.
The person on the only working till was clearly stressed as people who were waiting after their vaccinations asked politely it they were able to go (sounded like their post-jab wait times were well and truly up). But they were sternly told to wait until everyone in the queue was served. At least I could leave.

Staff are friendly and helpful.
Huuuuuuge range.
The rewards system - I've had so many rewards vouchers on my Living card I've lost count.
Local and central - while the prices might be lower at the budget pharmacy places, they are in Porirua and the petrol for the drive or the bus fare eats any savings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place denies access for customers with a valid mask exemption, they offer a service outside the store but don't even have a wireless eftpos machine, what a disgrace!
They have a little sign asking customers to call them if they have a mask exemption and another sign in the store asking customers ro be kind and patient, but their staff is not kind and not patient if you don't wear a mask (for valid reasons), except one staff member who apologised and agreed that their own rules are discriminating and don't really make sense...
