First visit to the restaurant itself, second time trying their food (previously tried their food catered to a function I've attended) . Very welcoming atmosphere, great front house service, and definitely a clean and well layed out sitting. First impression was good. Second impression was also good. Loved the flavours of the dishes we tried (cashew chicken, udang goreng). The servings may have appeared small, but serving size to price ratio was very good. Would have loved to see dessert on the menu. Will try them in a couple of months and see if things improve

Too pricey for small portion and average taste foods. Also, the wating was extremely long (30min) while i was the only customer there. I feel like there's some mangement issues.

I will choose to give zero star if I can. The chicken is cold inside and the cucumber is dry. The soup has a strange taste. I feel disgusted after taking a bite. Worst experience ever! NOT recommend at all. Taste absolutely terrible.

Came in for a quick lunch with my partner end up waiting 30 mins. for garlic prawns that he has order to come out. The hole place has only 3 tables in cluding mine. By the time I have got Satay chicken is 10mins after, my partner almost finish his food. Not only that my satay sause came out 5 minutes later when I have already eat half of $16 burning Satay, wondering is this the way they serve. Its a very sad looking satay that I ever see, of course the test is worse. Very disappointed, will never com back.

Love their Nasi Ambeng! I always order this meal and you guys should try it too. It's jasmine rice scooped out with rice bowl to have that bowl shape (not store bought cup rice people....those are pricey haha) accompanied with Malay style fried chicken, Beef rendang, bagedil (potato patty), sambal (chilli sauce) and Malay style stir fried tofu with tempeh. Her rendang is the best and very authentic. FYI, there are many style of rendang you can find in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. Bagedil and Epok-epok as appetizer is nice too but they are fried food, so, get ready for oily finger haha.

Good food, Nasi goren was good. Potatto fritters were great. Portions need to be increased to match the price for some items e.g. chicken satay from 4 to 8 would be good. Overall good experience. Menu is quite simple but no options for soft drinks although there was a fridge for soft drinks.

Food was great, I miss Singaporean & Malay food. I had the Chilli crab and it was superb. Sambal for Nasi Ambang was hot, yay! Friendliest owner ever, Auntie Lina. They had given us complimentary wonton & spring rolls for the wait. I think we should give them a chance & support them, they’re a relatively new business, and probably needs a few little tweaks. All the best!

What a joke! This is the worst meal/experience I have ever had at a restaurant. It is hard to know where to begin. My table ordered an iced milo, green tea and an orange juice. There is no alcohol at this premise and I can see why - they clearly do not make enough revenue to be able to afford one. The iced milo was made with water and not milk and tasted like rip-off milo. The orange juice and green tea were clearly from the supermarket and an absolute joke. If I wanted cold tea from countdown, I’d make it myself. The β€˜curry’ that I ordered, I didn’t even eat. It was basically orange coloured water with 2 small slices of carrot, one potato and one slab of chicken (with skin on it) that my fork could not go through because it was hard and boney. My meal was also cold. One member of our table ordered the cashew chicken which never actually arrived. The waitress accused us of not ordering it, when in fact we had. When asked to check her docket, she read it out, conveniently leaving out the fact that she had written it down (which we later discovered). The β€˜salad’ was basically a coleslaw and the rice appeared to be a rice cup from (you guessed it) the supermarket. There was no music, the restaurant (if you could even call it that) was cold and clinical. It was also clear that the waitress lacked knowledge of the terrible food they serve. It is over-priced as well. Our entrees of store bought greasy spring rolls and flavourless chicken broth came before our drinks, which being an orange juice, iced milo and green tea, should not be the case. We ended up walking out and had the intention of paying for our drinks only since we did not eat the food, only for the waitress to try and make us pay for what we sent back to the kitchen and did not eat. Overall, I would rather eat at a city mission than here. I do NOT recommend, we will not be back. I wish I could not even give this the one star rating I am required to give in order to add this review to Google.
