★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service - beautiful food. We had heard that Spitfire Sq Lone Star was the best one to go to and I agree. The slow roasted lamb was devine ? as was the Lasso of pork, the steak, and the burritos that were also consumed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place. Love coming to lone star. Unfortunately services wasn't the best. I had to wait 30 mins for my second beer, my red neck ribs were burnt, usually our waiter or waitress would check on your meal and if you happy. Not this time.
I will return as I like your meals but please help these young people in customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow! Wasn't 100 % impressed last night, on the last night of the mandates having to jump through hoops to get in. We are double vaxxed and could prove it with our International Australian Passes which were accepted EVERYWHERE else, but here, we were forced to show our passports as well. We're not liars love and the mandates lasted another 6 hours. Hope you enjoyed your last moments of power.
In Response to their comment - I've dropped it now to 1 star, because businesses that argue with reviewers without taking anything on board on how they can improve disappoint me.
There are two ways to abide by the government requirements, nicely and rudely.
Your girl was very rude and quite demanding, telling us what we had was not good enough and demanding us to "prove ourselves" further. This is what upset us, not government requirements.
A nice way to do is was to say, that's great. Would you mind terribly if I checked your i.d as well so that my manager is satisfied? As this is not the usual system we use. That we wouldn't have minded.
Shame the only response you had was to tell us you were sticking to govt requirements. They didn't tell you to be rude and treat clients like dirt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love Lonestar, and our experience at Spitfire was fantastic. All of the staff interact with each other like a family and seem like they actually want to be at work, which is always awesome to see.
I love your new button system for getting staff attention. It's so nice to go somewhere and not be asked every few minutes if we want drinks, or how the food is. The server who took our orders hung out nearby, in case we needed her, but it was so nice to not have the experience of being interrupted or feeling like you're being rushed to order.
The food, as always, was great. All staff were well presented, everything was clean and tidy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fortunately, I have had the pleasure of dining at Lone Star Spitfire on more than one occasion. Each visit- as always the entire experience is faultless. The staff are friendly and the restaurant has a certain level of class about it, clean, spacious, and attractive décor. Hands down the best Lone Star Branch nationwide. The quality and presentation of the meals (my personal favorite the salmon is just divine, an absolute MUST!) sets a standard to aspire too. A special thank you to the restaurant Manager Chontelle, who goes above and beyond providing us with exceptional service and dining experience each time . We look forward to our next return, which never comes around fast enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The venue is lovely, and the staff are very pleasant to deal with.
However service was slow, and drinks took some time. I ordered the Ribeye, which came seared on one side, with the non seared side up, which didn’t plate very nicely at all. However the sauce and potatoes were awesome.
My partner ordered a burger, which lost points because if of its very tough bottom bun, and the chips served with it were average.
Nice venue and staff, but probably wouldn’t revisit
