Had dinner here, and the overall experience is somewhat okay. Like the decor, servers are friendly, but mixed reviews for each food component. So let’s break it down Sashimi - well plated, with very fresh ingredients. Highly recommend this. Karaage - not sure what they marinated this with, but it surely doesn’t taste anything like karaage, but it taste like just fried chicken.. not in a very tasty way, even with the condiments. Tempura - nice selection of vegetable, the coating falls off too easily, but at least it taste good enough. But! Please use a larger bowl for the dipping sauce, you can barely get any on it with the awkward tiny square plate. Cute sauce plate, but not practical. Tepanyaki - ordered the set dish, and the appetiser was a small bowl of fried chicken strip, which is just meh tbh. Vegetable could use a better seasoning, it didn’t taste very good. Lamb is nicely done. Beef is overcooked, requested done level (medium-rare is close to well done). But at least it is still tender and flavourful. Chicken is nicely done. Seafood is of okay level. Miso soup, served wayyyyyyy too hot Drinks, nice selection of sake and tap beers of fair prices. Now to the environment, it is a tepanyaki restaurant, so it is expected that smell will get to your clothings and hair, so no issue with that. HOWEVER! A big thumbs down for the tepanyaki chef performance, they are doing so many thing in an exaggerated way, making lesser of an enjoyable performance, more of annoying presence. For example, there is no need for you to constantly knock your seasoning shaker so loud, every time you season something with salt and pepper. If you wanna make some noise, at least make it sound rhythmic, don’t make it sound like children doing tantrums with their utensils (cuz that’s what it feels like dining there, I’m more irritated than I am entertained). Overall the experience is okay-ish. There is definitely room for improvement.

Great experience. Thanks. Wonderful tempura, delicious squid, shrimps and scallops, superb vegetables, tasty miso soup, and outstanding whitefish and salmon. Teriyaki chicken is awesome. WOW! Topped with eye filet grilled to perfection.

Amazing food, great service, staff were great. They even gave the couple I was with who were celebrating a wedding anniversary a complimentary dessert. Great place would definitely go back!

Oh dear - looks like we'll need to find a new Teppanyaki joint. Burnt the egg, obliterated the roll instead of the fast slice with the blades, the fried rice was burnt rice ( see the previous egg ), scallops were black on one side and untouched on the reverse, and the venison was so well done it was charred. The floor mats were sticking to our shoes which was just gross. To top that off the small saki amounted to two thimbles. Appears to have had a change of ownership and has suffered immensely. Very much put a sour note on a special occasion. Definitely won't be going back.

First time to seat around the grill and have tepanyaki. We celebrated my daughter's birthday and they gave her a "happy birthday ice cream". The only thing is that, other staff seems having difficulty explaining to us about the menu. She wanted us to order the menu set (6-7food included)for each person. Even for my young kids. The fried rice was salty, but chicken & beef are good.

We were warmly greeted on arrival and made to feel very welcome which is always appreciated, the service was attentive but not overbearing and the food..oh my goodness,so so delicious and abundant. We sat around the grill this time and had a set menu which was cooked in front of us to perfection by a friendly and clearly skilled chef who was absolutely engaging to watch. To top off the evening we were treated to a complimentary ice-cream dessert as we were celebrating an anniversary which came as a complete surprise and was such a treat. Thank you SuRa

Great food, great staff, great service, no complaints simply amazing. The meatlovers was nothing short of exceptional, we played a game where they tossed up food and we caught it in our mouths which was a laugh for everyone, they showed of their skills with cooking and put on a great show. Great for family or anyone. Would definitely recommend it
