β β β β β Clean facilities, close to great beaches for kids to swim, great hosts, fantastic accommodation and activities. A must for any group young and old. Worthwhile, travelling from the Bay of Plenty, to stay!!

β β β β β Loved been at Lonsdale loved the fact that Lonsdale caters for all functions held there. So clean and tidy, loved the obstacle course.

β β β β β Great facilities, single bed bunks in several cabins. Large dining hall and the kitchen is well equipped with crockery, plates, books etc. Really enjoyed my time away at this place.

β β β β β This is a very child friendly spot. We were blessed enough to be able to use this spot to celebrate my grandsons 5th Birthday.
Fully fenced with enough space for the children to play safely away from the car park area.
Obstacle courses, flying fox just a couple of their entertaining activities that kept the babies well entertained.
Would recommend this place to anyone fortunate enough to utilise.
You won't regret this spot for the kiddies. Located rural and 15 minutes from the beautiful Matauri Bay

β β β β β Nice and simple camp design and sleeping arrangements great for school camps or even retreats. Nicely secluded and away from nearby townships so great for isolation or meditation based programs. Large Grass area and mini pine forest great for mini programs. FAIR WARNING. There is an infestation of sandflies so insect repellent and skin spray is advised. The Camp manager is Lovely and had always stopped by to make sure everything was in order.
Note: if you are not a fan of outdoor or adventurous living you will probably not like this campsite.
