Most times I encounter Anna, who has been remarkably helpful, even doing a speedy alteration for an event I was attending the same day. In addition, Anna does beautiful work, and recently shortened a lined jacket that required skill to shorten its curved hem. I would really recommend her to anyone wanting a very professional job done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The quality of alterations at Newmarket Looksmart is amazing. Anna can make incredibly difficult changes to garments and the result is so professional you would never know they had been altered. As well as providing ultra-friendly service with a can-do attitude, Anna really listens and understands what you want. She is very creative and makes useful suggestions about slight alterations that will give the perfect fit. The best ever!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The wonderful Anna that runs this alterations shop always goes above and beyond! 6 months ago I got a dress altered here and when I got home I called her to ask her to hold onto the remainder of the fabric for me. 6 months later, they’ve moved the entire contents of their store and relocated to new market mall. I didn’t even think to ask if they held onto it, but she did and ran to get it as soon as she saw me. She’s also incredible at her work and turns over alterations so quickly!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing experience - Dates back to February, haven't gotten to post feedback til now. I had a pair of pants to be taken up - cost was double what I was quoted on the phone. Used a $10.00 off voucher and the staff member seemed to resent me for it. The end quality was not great, as it appears they had only done about 4 stitches around the hem of each leg to secure the length, which left the hem gape-y and I was able to trip into it. I was at an event wearing them and one of the few stitches came undone, meaning that about a third of the hem came loose. Not impressed for the $34 i paid - Thank goodness I didn't pay $44!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely worst experience I have ever had! I went here because this place has great reviews but after my experience today I feel like they are false. I needed alterations done to a suit I bought from Barkers, I knew it was going to be a decent amount given the time required and multiple alterations required but after being told it would cost $575 for the alterations I was in shock to say the least. I went to Rose's Alterations after this to try the suit on again and have the exact same alterations done with a total coming to a very reasonable $213. Don't waste your time and money here and go and see Rose's Alterations in Epsom for the same result but much better value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went hoping to be able to patch a hole in linen shorts. The young man I spoke to, was very helpful, confident and polite. He consulted with the lady behind and confirmed everything he has said was correct. Very pleased with the result. I can hardly tell they have been patched. When my partner collected them the next day, she specifically said the lady she dealt with was very polite. I would use again and recommend this place ! Thank you for great service!
