★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went down for lunch. Clean tables and seating, great environment and decor, polite service.
Had their Steamed Pork Buns/xiao long bao which was great. Big + for having a non-stick liner in the bamboo steamer, all too often the buns are placed on paper and ruin the buns trying to pick it up.
Also had the Spicy Lamb offal pot. Very authentic flavor, not too salty and great presentation. Super fluffy freshly steamed rice was served.
Good price, on the cheaper end compared to other nearby restaurants.
Would go again to try other dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overpriced for below average quality. We asked for hot tea which is normally served at Chinese restaurants right away. When the tea came, it wasn't hot at all. 1dollar charge for takeaway box which is normally free anywhere else. Service was alright.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The environment is amazing, well furnished and renovated with traditional Chinese style. The food was amazing, especially the Steam Pork Buns and It was only 9bux. I also asked the chef to make a spicy chinese dish which was delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brilliant restaurant, calm decorations, good food very tasty, beautiful present each dish. It is not expensive in New market, services in large portion. 2 adults are well feeded within $60 budget. Toilet has been maintained tidy and clean manners that is very good. Only one inconveniences that is no parkings available, paid car parks are available cross street. The boss lady has been in charge on site, team provides fast and friendly service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We entered and was greeted with a smile but then when the lady realised we were not Chinese, it was evident in her face that she doesn’t want to assist us. The place itself was nice, cute pandas everywhere although their service really needs to improve. Staff needs to make sure that all customers are well serviced. We have to ask for chopsticks-and follow up on orders…no tissue given.. Food was okay, it’s nice.. but i think the wait time was just too loooong. We were not able to enjoy the food at all.. upon paying, we were even charged for the water. I was wondering why is there an extra $3 on the bill. I know its just $3, but that was Tap water! Tap water that was on a bottle placed on the fridge?! We were even the ones who got it from the fridge as their service is just ?
Were customers willing to pay for food and good service but obviously we didn’t get our money’s worth. Would definitely not recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the moment we stepped into this restaurant we were looked after and taken care of very well. We were even given a table nearer the heater for warmth. We ordered Spiced Chicken with chilli sauce, Sizzling beef with black pepper, Stir fried Eggplant and Green beans, Pan fried Pork buns, and Chicken fried rice. Every item that we had ordered turned out to be mouth wateringly delicious. The cuisine is quite different from the standard Chinese menu. It was extremely flavoursome, and we absolutely loved it. The portions were so generous that even though we were stuffing ourselves, we could not finish it. We had to pack a substantial portion to take back with us. It is a must try if you have not been to Lucky Panda.
