Good value for money and excellent service. My favourite place for fish and chips.

Fish was oily with too much breading and chips somehow had no flavor except a sort of burnt oil flavor... Really good price for the amount of food you get but I won't be going back here for fish and chips again. Edit: the owner has said they don't sell breaded fish... I just mean the batter used on the fish. It was soggy and falling off - could have been much lighter. I also bought banana fritters which had a very very thick layer of tasteless dough. I'm originally from America so our terminology must be different. This review is definitely for Lucky Wok, right by the audio store in Onehunga.

I would not go back to this place, I ordered a fried rice and when they gave it to me, it looked very red, I asked why is it red and they told me, it was ‘food colouring’. I can not understand why they have to put this in this dish. I’m careful about what I eat, I don’t want to have unnecessary food substitutes. They wouldn’t refund me or cook me a normal one.

Food was very yummy. Chose mild spicy - chicken fried rice and we loved it. Must try - onion rings ( excellent) 5 star - value for money and taste

This is by far my one of my favorite takeaways I always order D that one fish steaks and egg burger and chips a meal for one that fills you up to the rim far cheaper than Mac Donald’s and Burger King the service is always friendly and they also take phone orders and it’s ready when you pick it up I live in Remuera

The food here is delicious and am left feeling like i want more however at some point i know i must stop eating.. the staff are friendly and always polite and ready to deliver no matter how busy they are. I especially love the deep fried curry chicken wings/pieces that are done to perfection with a lovely spicy kick but to much, crispy and not loaded with batter and bursting with flavour.. i normally order with fries that always seem fresh, hot, light and crispy. Sorry (KFC) not sorry when it comes to value for money, quality and quantity with great service hands down. I normally travel across town approx 7.5kms to get my weekly fix. A little hidden gem. P.s telephone order is very useful Thanks Jodi and team. ?

Pretty disappointing. Ordered the Chilli Chicken on Rice. Batter was doughy and the chicken inside was no more than the size of a 10c piece and that is being generous. Customer service was great but food I barely ate as it was just batter. Not worth the money.

Even though it was a bit cheaper than the Dragon Takeaway next door, it did not do justice.. too oily.. Potato fritters felt like it sat in water before it was battered and fried cause it turned out soggy mashy, hoki fish was dry, fried won tons had this funny taste, mussel fritter as always is doughy no surprise there, Seafood Egg Foo Young was too dense not fluffy, plus it was a brown not yellow colour. I'm not one to waste food, but I just could not eat this. I think the oil can be changed often as this might have lead to the foul taste to the fried food.
