Update in 2019: I have embraced the price increase. They are best Chinese in the surrounding neighborhood. They taste really awesome

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BEWARE: Advised staff of nut allergy when making an order, specifically asked for no nuts in the meal. After getting home, eating and realising nuts were present throughout one of the dishes, urgently contacted diamond takeaways, asking if they had in fact included nuts in one of the dishes despite me disclosing a nut allergy.
Their response was ‘We cannot assume although you disclosed a nut allergy, every dish is to be eaten by you, so yes there will be dishes with nuts in your order’. A simple apology I could have accepted but that is completely negligent customer service with the restaurant taking no accountability for the seriousness of the issue.
Please be careful when ordering food from diamond takeaways, especially with allergies, for me this is life-threatening and for others it will be too.
