★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here hoping to have a great nail experience. I had existing gel nails on and naturally long nails. They were so rough and burnt my fingers. My nails were damaged. I refused to let them do my polish. They made me pay $40 for a manicure I didn't receive. I had to cut my nails short when I got home as they were so damaged they were brittle and snapped. I will never go back and will tell everyone else not too. So disappointed and sad I had to cut my beautiful long nails.

I actually came in to salon on Friday, 90% of gel was removed by drill and after complaining multiple times it burnt my fingers you still continued and then wrapped with foil. Note, there was still gel on my nails after I left the salon - so not a full removal.
The only manicure service I had was nail cut and shape. I never asked for clear nail once refusing charge of $100 and requested no additional service.
As you can see in the picture my nails have trauma marks from the drilling and rough handling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a nail business being as rude and careless for a client as Lux Nail was today. Treating the client with disrespect and not only ruining her nails but hurting her in the process. Not to mention it was for the clients birthday. I never write reviews but I was compelled to after this experience. All it takes is one bad apple to ruin a whole business for a customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came in for a manicure and had to wait a while for any service. Half an hour after being seated down at a seat they gave me the colours to go through. Firstly, I had gel on my nails before I came and they filed off the gel very roughly. So much so my nails were breaking off from the slightest contact from any surface after I left the place. Secondly, When I picked the colour, the staff member serving me questioned me about the choice I picked as if I was joking. Thirdly, as she was shaping my nails I noticed that it was not looking straight and I informed the staff member but she said that my fingers weren't straight. Lastly, the service felt very unwelcoming. The staff member barely said anything and gave very short answers and would brush my comments aside when I asked her to fix her up her job on my nails. Four of my nails broke off within a week and I had to wait until my nails were completely grown out again for them to not break off so easily. In conclusion, this one staff member made my first experience at Lux Nail Bar horrible and I WON"T be coming back for a second time. Neither will any of my other contacts.

I went here with my Mum and we were both first timers, the cleanliness was amazing, staff were friendly and made conversation which was really nice, not just did we have a pedicure but we were treated to a sugar scrub, hot towels and hot stones. The attention to detail was fantastic and lastly the selection of colours was wide range to choose from :) 10/10 recommended. This is now my new nail place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely! Absolutely lovely staff and beautiful nails. We had booked for a wedding party to get manis and pedis on Wednesday 27th and they were so patient and friendly. Thank you! ? I wish I could take a better photo but trust me, they look fantastic!
Edit: exactly one month on and I still have all but one of my nails on (I picked at one about a week ago, if I hadn't picked it'd probably still be there.) See second photo. I will absolutely be going back in to get them done again soon! Best gels I've ever had!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst nail experience I’ve ever had. Manicure done very superficially and rushed, color applied wrong as it’s on my skin as well. The finish isn’t smooth. I was left with oil on the hands without massage so I had to wipe my hands down. Had my nails done by 3 different people as they kept walking away to do something else.
The end result as per pictures, isn’t professional. Not recommended.

exactly. I booked for something and got something different despite me confirming what I wanted at my arrival. After that, it’s on you ensuring you’re providing the correct service.
My nails have been done with no manicure. Just filing. I’ve never seen anything like that. You have to prepare the nails.
I’ve changed 3 people, not 2.
The color is all on my skin as per pictures. What’s the excuse there?
As I said and as proven here again by your comment, unprofessional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love getting my nails done here. Anna has done my last two sets of sns manicure and vivian has done my last 2 spa pedicures. All the staff are friendly and great at their jobs! I love the special touch of having a hot stone massage on the feet with the spa pedicures, it's not something I have had elsewhere. Will continue to be a regular!
