โ โ โ โ โ A bit of an oasis in a desert this one. Not much competition in the area but it does have a good range of tap beers. The Kilkenny was pretty good and there is also Guinness on tap (not tasted yet, next time). Lots of tables and chairs in three big lines so make no mistake, it's not a cosy bar. It serves it's purpose though.

โ โ โ โ โ Typical English styled pub with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating areas. On the day of my visit there was only one person at the bar which made for a wait. The beer promo was poor, 3 out of the 4 choices were not available despite a sign been up advertising the deal.

โ โ โ โ โ Used to eat here all the time went in with my son and my wife on aFriday night around 7 15 pm couldnโt believe the place was deserted but ordered a meal and a drink and staff looked at us as if we were aliens when we asked for apple sauce to go with our pork me and my son decided to have a game of pool and at 8 30 we were asked to finish our game and they started to put the chairs on the tables way to go new owners it wonโt be the virus that weeks your business it will be your customers service or lack of of it wonโt be going back again in the foreseeable future

โ โ โ โ โ No one behind the bar when I went in so I couldnt order a drink. Thought they might have some english beers but couldn't see any on tap. Atmosphere didn't feel great, got glared at when I walked in. Racing on the TVs and looked like poker night. Won't go back.

โ โ โ โ โ You know somethings wrong when:
- The once-rocking place is empty,
- The wait staff suggest we might like to eat somewhere else before we've even placed our order,
- The 'vegetarian burger' comes out with a beef patty,
- The only sound other than our own voices is from the greyhound racing playing on all 5 TV screens (great if you're a gambler, not so much if you're a diner),
- Food was OK but if you're after atmosphere there's something lacking now. Sadly we'll be taking their own staff's advice and eating somewhere else for the next couple years.
