Best Motel in New Zealand

L	Lisa Brundage on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cute rooms and the restaurant was great. Nice staff and pretty surroundings. It is older, but gives you all you need for a night or two. Only downside is you can hear the occasional truck drive by at night.
J	Jo Cowley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Advertised as bar and grill which is why we booked it. However no bar, and were told they could cook us something up to eat in our room before 8 pm. Wouldn’t have stayed if we had this information before hand. Room not super clean and no smoke alarms.
T	Tania Merrick on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place to stay, our room was up graded, arrived to a lovely warm room, thanks very much to the management for turning it on as it was very cold. Would recommend to anyone and I would stay there again. Only comment is that there was no WiFi in the room.

There's a free pool table if you fancy a game and an old piano if you feel like playing a wee ditty! The dinner meals are very nice and filling. Not an extensive menu but not bad either. The breakfast (all day big breakfast) is the only choice. A bit pricey for what it is at $20 - city price but not a city breakfast.
