★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor midwifery care from LMC Adriana Yianacou. Poor communication, communication barrier, only 4 aftercare visits postpartum, gets other midwives to do the work as I was attended by 3 different midwives, she did not attend baby’s birth, was not introduced before baby’s birth to back up midwives, when my time came and I reached out to her I just got an sms with 2 other midwives numbers, did not know she was on leave. Enquire about complaint and referral to specialist response was that I’m over 6weeks postpartum, so her service does not apply any more, that was at 7weeks pp. When problems were addressed the response was midwives are under payed. Makes assumptions, justifies complaints. Bare minimum midwifery care, lost touch of midwifery care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I attended a class at MAMA Maternity and it was fab. The educator was fantastic, she was friendly and very knowledgeable and I came out feeling much more confident about my birth and caring for my new baby after attending them. I would definitely recommend them to others.

She don't know how to make an appointment with clients. Also, she has very rude personality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an awful experience with a lady called Adriana. She txted me an awful message saying I didn’t attend appointments and “congratulating” me on finding another midwife other then her because I hadn’t turned up to appointments when in fact I had turned up there twice for appointments and the appointments had either not been made or were booked for other times (I also have multiple txts to prove these) She was also not nice to me in any of the texts she had sent me prior I would avoid this person at all cost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I feel I need to write a review on my mw Adriana as there have been some other reviews that could be off-putting. I found Adriana extremely knowledgeable and I left every clinic with a smile. She has such a motherly and positive nature about her that it made my pregnancy a great one. She left me empowered and motivated to go natural and I am so grateful for that. Although I did not get to have her for my actual birth or after (I moved out of the area), she still rung and congratulated me (and with such excitement) and her care did not finish there, she would take the time to answer questions and fill me in with things to look out for. Lots of care from Adriana during my pregnancy journey. ?
