★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The mangawhai tavern market is a must visit for us whenever we are in Mangawhai. There is a really good mix of stalls including local produce, yummy snacks and gifts. If you want some of the fresh sour dough bread get there early as it always sells our. The dumplings from Akami are my favorite snack

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mangawhai is a very sociable town and the various markets have a great range of goodies.
People from far and wide come to enjoy and chat with each other while their dogs meet and play with each other. The markets are open between 0900 and 1300 S. After that you can head down to the Mangawhai Heads Shopping Center, a foodies delight with an incredible range of food from around the world.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely Saturday Market. Live music and great atmosphere. There is a seating area by the water and the live music. Perfect spot for breakfast/ brunch/ lunch.
Also Aucklenders have great taste, that’s why you see them there.
