★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hut. Needs better insulation to keep the heat in. Would be handy to have a vent between the bunkrooms and kitchen so you can heat the bunkrooms with the kitchen fire.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hut was pretty dirty and drop toilets were full when we were there. Tapped water was a bit gross, better get it from some stream on your way to the hut. Don’t trust the duration on the DOC signs when coming from Waiopaoa hut.
