★ ★ ★ ★ ★ More than three years (well before Covid19), We booked and paid for Mantra Marina hotel, Booking reference no: 827783873 / 47579
Due medical emergency we could not go and have to cancel it before going, Ayden Gillan. who was working in reservation told us that “I will hold the booking in our system”.
When we plan to use this booking, Jessica Hogan emailed that “Mantra Marina is no longer a hotel part of Mantra or a hotel anymore” and referred us to “Kara Dyall. Kara Dyall emails back
“Thank you for providing the attached.
I am urgently trying to get this rectified, however there is a process due to the circumstances.
It has been escalated to the New Zealand manager and I will contact you on Monday. I really appreciate your patience and understanding and once again, apologise.
I tried to follow up with Kara again and never heard back.
Long story short we never get our money back. Be very careful to deal with this nasty people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well appointed and furnished apartments. Lakeside with great view of The Remarkables range, and easy reach of shops and wineries. Some of the apartments did not have a covered walkway to the carpark, so you could get wet to/from car. Not a big deal but not ideal if lugging heavy bags.
