β β β β β Very disappointed that our Christmas Eve fish never turned up and was charged for. Had text in morning to say it was being delivered then nothing. Rang to say we hadn't had the usual tracking number sent through and was assured delivery would definitely be there by 6. Despite leaving phone messages and e mail had no correspondence and no fish. Finally rang courier who told me they had missed packing alot of orders as he had been getting inquiries too. They never packed or sent our order st all.. By 7.30 despite assurances it was obvious it wasn't coming after speaking to courier. Desperate dsah to supermarket where everything had sold out. Ruined our Christmas and made it very embarrassing to have quests arriving and no fish. No word or reply to messages or e mails so 2 days and they haven't apologized or refunded money. I am pretty appalled and won't be ordering again and neither will any of our guests after we had to explain the reason there was no fish. . My advice is to not rely on sandfords for delivery despite e mail and text confirming it was on the way.. shocking lack of servicr

β β β β β Nice fish, too bad I can't say the same about the Sunday late afternoon staff yesterday! Two ladies at the counter one of them is short and big, really rude attitude and LAZY! Yeah, don't worry about your paying customer, you flirt around that section where the guys sitting on the table can see you! Tell me to to do your job, lazy clown!

β β β β β This fish market is very clean, hygiene and the fishy smells are not strong, so I think this is why they can confidently open the eatery in the building.
The market sells fresh fishes that basically better than those supermarkets (C***td**n, N*w W**ld etc.) for reasonable price or even fishes that are not available in the supermarkets.

β β β β β The place is new and fancy but prices don't reflect the standard quality. The staff is great though and very helpful, plus the place is opened late so after a call from them, I feel like it deserves one more star (4 out of 5). The patio is also worth a visit in summer but I would recommend weekdays versus weekends, like all restaurants and places who serve fresh fish.

β β β β β This place has the best fish and seafood around. Have had their fresh ocean farmed salmon and made into sushi at home. However during lockdown, we have placed order a few times. When they deliver as expected it is fine. However when they do not deliver as scheduled or miss an item on your delivery, it is a pain in the bum to deal with. Their customer service is not very good, they do not follow up with customer when problems arises. So you will have to be very vigilant and keep chasing them and eventually they will finally respond. They always promise a redelivery date but it is not guaranteed to get there on the day. I myself probably wont use the online services anymore and wait till level 2 lockdown then go visit their physical store unless they really improve on their online customer service.

β β β β β Very clean shop, fresh fish, reasonably priced. The staff are very courteous and helpful. They had almost closed for the day, when we entered the shop, but served us with a vey warm and welcoming smile. Thanks for great customer service!

β β β β β Ordered fresh oysters for a function day before. Confirmation emails with up to date texting for delivery the next day. Delivered in individual packaging per dozen on ice. Courier rang when arrived at property and delivered straight to front door. Impressive communication from time of order to delivery. Product was excellent value for money and appreciate the fantastic customer service. Would highly recommend. Great to have this level of service for an outstanding fresh product. Thanks so much.

β β β β β Sanford and son just started online delivery so we tried it out this week. We ordered snapper fillets to make home made fish and chips with a simple soda water batter. The chilled order arrived the next day and once we opened the pack there was no smell so we knew the fish was fresh.and it was.
The dish was so fresh and succulent it is the best price of fish I have bought in Auckland
Tip. Nadia Lim has a great ' fish and chips fake away" recipie on stuff.
