Mediocre service, they didn’t get correct the half of our order and even mixed up the complimentary coffee in the end. The breakfast menu is quite boring, fruits from the fruit plate were poor quality considering it was the middle of the season.

5 star service is alive and well in this waterfront 5 star hotel. Auckland New 5 star hotel. Impeccable service and yummy food. We chose to dine here as the seafood menu is better than the signature restaurant

Came here for vegan high tea. Not the cleanest seating area. Vegan options were poorly presented and dishes were cold and some were quite hard.Explained to the staff and emailed the manager. Received unwelcoming/copy and paste style of email reply from the manager. I have dined at many Grand Hyatts around the world but don’t think this style of customer service is up to that luxury hotel standards. Not recommended for the vegan high tea..

I would select zero stars if it were not for the service. The food itself was terrible, and my word this is the 5 time I have eaten there. The last 3 times it has gotten worse and worse. I reached out to management but no response. I was really hoping today it would be so much better after 8 months. For the first time in my life i received chicken that tasted like tuna, how?? on a ceasar salad, it looked like tuna stakes, it was so weird. Had no anchovy and no flavour in there at all. The lettuce was limp and the soft boiled egg was freezing cold, precooked and stored in fridge or something, it was not good. Fries.... were limp, cold and overcooked. Also they were cooked in dirty oil.. the Halloumi fries were burnt to a crisp. The fish and chips came with mushy peas, a spoon full of watery tasteless peas.. a teaspoon of them. The fries were terrible, and fish batter wrecked because of the oil I assume. We raised it as an issue, they took the price of the salad off the bill and then promptly;y charged us for a bottle of champagne we never had.. None of the food we had today should of got past the pass in the kitchen. I will not be returning.

Had great breakfast. All dishes are perfectly presented. I’ve been here for dinner too which was also very pleasant. Reasonable price considering the location, environment and the service.

Amazing venue, located by the water front, and well suited for functions and big groups. Comfortable seats and classy atmosphere. You can expect professional hospitality and the food is reasonably priced. Ideal for a date night or family breakfast.
