★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived here dripping wet from a rainy motorbike ride from Motueka. Gravel driveway not a problem on fully-loaded bikes as there is hard standing next to the motel. This lovely place is quite far from everything so we were advised to either bring some food or be prepared to ride for a bit to a town with a cafe. However, our room had all the facilities for preparing a meal, and it was so quiet and peaceful. We slept like babies. The air was good - cool and fresh, and we felt invigorated next morning. The owners are friendly and helpful, and we were able to dry our wet kit in the tumble dryer. There are facilities for washing, too. The area is beautiful, and it was truly good to be far from the madding crowd.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These guys are just so friendly, and went out of their way to make me feel welcome and meet my needs. A wonderful, peaceful stay — felt like a home away from home. This will now be my destination of choice whenever I’m in the area. Excellent accomodation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got stuck in the rain and booked in very last minute with what turned out to be a very welcoming, friendly family run motel. They were so accomodating and had a room ready for four of us within the hour. Very cute little rooms with everything you need, highly recommended ?
