★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed the meal. We had butter chicken, lamb madras, kheema naan and cheese and garlic naan. That was the cheesiest naan we ever had . It was literally oozing delicious cheese. The dough was so light and fluffy , best ever. The curries both tasted incredibly fresh like they were just made . A+++

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended! We visit Tanka at Master of India every year when we visit Taupō. It’s a tradition just as important as visiting the lake. Wonderful friendly service and delicious curry. You won’t be disappointed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having lived in Glasgow and Birmingham you are always cautious about going to a curry house and this one was no different. But due to the reviews we went in. Decor is fine, but the curry is where it is at. Onion bhaji lovely, tikka masala was ok. Curry’s were great though, jalfrezi and tikka masala. Service was top notch and quick. Great hearty portions. Well done Master of India

Ive traveled the world and been lucky enough to have eaten at world class eatery’s, But My number 1 is this restaurant in Taupo district!!
The owner, Tonka, his lovely family and staff are so accommodating and attentive, it’s world class service with food made with love!!
