★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Played a quick 9h today on the back 9. Had been raining a lot but the course was still very playable and not at all affected by the weather. A great parkland course with two very memorable par 3s: 11th - high elevation tee box looking down on a beautiful green. 16th - play the edge of the river to hit the green. Shoe cleaning area had a very powerful air hose which was fantastic for cleaning the grass off my shoes quickly. I can imagine that this course would be stunning on a sunny summers day because it’s at the foot of the Kaimai ranges.
