★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location - close to Matamata and Hobbiton as well as down the road from the Hauraki Rail Trail which were the reasons we stayed at Okauia House.
Miriam, the host, communicates promptly and is extremely accommodating!
Beautiful views, amazing shower, clean, heated floors in the bathroom, kitchenette with treats and cereals.
Honestly couldn't ask for more!
They also have a friendly, beautiful cat that gave us a visit :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A tasteful, peaceful, near new and luxurious space, with a charming country outlook. We enjoyed the sunset view from the private outdoor dining area. The bed is large and super comfortable, the huge shower is incredible, with water jets in the wall,, as well as having a normal shower. The wonderful hosts are welcoming, sympathetic, and generous. It's totally worth making a detour just to stay here. We have stayed twice so far, and would definitely recommend this lovely place to friends.
