★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I phone the reception to request a copy of my last receipt. I spoke so politely. Tracey was abusive to me, she scolded me saying "don't call here, you should be calling post office" and was so rude to me on the phone. I was mentally depressed after the abusive call. I got the impression that they don't like me to be in their registry. I will take this up their manager.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For many years I was very satisfied but since Dr. Trotman retired I have become disappointed with the service. Reception is good as always, my main reason is the doctors: several of the doctors seem to either work part time or be on leave frequently which means I often see a different doctor each time which I do not like. Also I have had a rash two times in the last year, the first time I was incorrectly diagnosed with scabies, the medication had no effect and doctor persisted regardless of my voicing concern some days later. I ended up going to White Cross at Ascot Hospital for another opinion and was diagnosed with an allergic reaction and treated successfully. The same rash recurred about 12 months later and I couldn't see the same doctor as he was away so I saw his Locum who diagnosed allergy again but the medication had very little or no effect so I called 3 days later asking to discuss with doctor - but I did not get a call back (it's been almost a week since). In the meanwhile I went to White Cross again and the different medication has given me much relief - although not cleared fully I still need to see a specialist. I will be considering other clinics in the area for myself and family as I really want a good 'family doctor' experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to see a doctor this is the place to go. There are a choice of doctors to suit anyone's needs. I never have to wait long to see my doctor and always get the same doctor every visit. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Receptionist is very rude. Didn’t bother to welcome me instead looked away when I was at the counter to tell her I had an appointment. When she finally spoke all she said was “what do you want?”
I told her I had a appointment and she was very aggressive about the whole situation and realised I had booked with the physio instead of the doctor. She then decided to tell me that she could have used that appointment earlier.
All whilst I was in pain standing at the counter hunched over. Ended up at A&E and had a much better experience with receptionist that actually care about patients

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First came to the clinic about 23 years ago. I was with Dr Lou Randall for 20 of those years before he retired. A fantastic Doctor. I then saw Doctor Neela Ahmed who started my process off to get a hip replacement procedure. She also is a fantastic awesome Doctor and person. I then also saw Doctor Monirul Islam. ( Dr Neela's husband ) Dr Islam is the best Doctor I have had in my 66 years. He is very professional and an expert in all facets of General Practice; as well as surgical procedures and skin cancers. His relaxed style means I feel comfortable in discussing any health topic with him. He also has a fantastic sense of humour. I cannot rate him highly enough. His nurse and receptions staff are also fantastic and a pleasure to consult with. A ++++++++++++

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been at this doctors surgery since I was born 35 years ago and have only ever had two doctors who are absolutely amazing. they actually take the time to listen and talk about issues you may have. Office staff (Tracy) is amazing always welcoming and has a genuine care for patients. Thank you for being the best ever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and i have been attending Maungakiekie Clinic for nearly 20 years. We have used 3 different doctors for various family members over the years. Happy to support a warm and friendly local service that deliver good quality care. However, recently there are always issues and mistakes with accounting and nurse appointments. Disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've got absolutely nothing bad to say about any staff, Tracy is wonderful. And quite a character at times meaning funny and pleasant. I always make sure that my account is in credit or try to at least. So when my appointment is finished, I simply walk out and say goodbye to the ladies. I work for the DHB and understand how stressful at times, this job can be even for receptionist nurses and even for hip cool Doctors. I can also admit that I've never been spoken down to. My doctor always explain to me why he would recommend a medication, he will also explain the dangers and the side effects. To the staff, Doctors Nurses Receptionist ladies. Thanks for your support and the help and making me always feel welcome. You are the ones who make this place well done.
