β β β β β Self service ordering not working, nΕ way to order a latte. When order recieved, latte was un drinkably hot (bye bye tastebuds) and Mocha was a good temp. Playground clean and in good working order. Mobility parking available.

Very polite food is perfect orders are perfect.
Kaikohe need to get their act together.

β β β β β Worst MacDonalds I have been to anywhere in NZ. 2 staff members were not wearing masks or gloves while working with the food and they got a few things wrong on our order. We wonβt be back.

β β β β β Regular Medeez, clean and tidy most times, tables usually always cleared / straight away. Good outdoor eating area and play area for the tamafreakies. Is right by the main road and footpath so gets pretty noisy and hectic especially with the busy Kerikeri traffic so if ya want some peace and quiet while eating in, best to sit indoors. Good & friendly staff & service.
Prefer to use the drive through, can get busy especially certain days / times (weekends and pay days ...) but usually going through the drive-through is quick.

β β β β β Good Morning, We visited the Kerikeri store on 26/3/22 and only stayed as we'd promised a treat for our granddaughter. We enjoy McDonald's and appreciate the extra effort being made during Covid. Kerikeri did not do at all well. I've now read reviews and it's not a good look. It is clearly not a short term problem either and needs to be addressed urgently.
When we entered I expected to show our passes and was told they aren't required any more. I think they are until the 4th April. People were entering without masks and there was no distancing. One lad was offered a mask by staff. The place was so dirty and the flies were there in abundance. In the 45 minutes we were there no surface was cleaned and all the tables were dirty. The touch screen was grimy, as were counters. Toilets certainly not acceptable. Staff were in high spirits laughing and chatting. Two actually ran while organising drinks behind the counter to get them to drive thru customers. This was a safety concern. No table service and meals were placed on a table without checks as to whether the intended person collected it. What an opportunity for a thief. Our food was barely hot and burgers very poorly presented. Staff were friendly but it seemed as if they were having a great time, not customer focused.
I wrote the above directly to McDonald's Head Office. They haven't replied so I have posted this public review.
