★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My fiance and I visited the Homestead for dinner Saturday night.
The food was five stars all day long. I had the rump steak with mushroom sauce, chips and salad. Firsty, it was so good. Secondly, the rump was advertised as a 250 gram, I reckon it was closer to 320 gram. The steak was perfectly cooked too.
My partner had the special, Chicken Parmigiana. She claimed it was the best she had ever had. That's a huge compliment as not only am I a qualified Chef who's made that dish several hundred times, but we have enjoyed that dish in many pubs around Australia.
On top of the amazing food, the service was unfaultable. We didn't realise a rugby function had been underway for hours and was still wrapping up in the bistro. Despite the function and how busy the kitchen must of been during the day, the staff allowed us to dine and did their best to accommodate us. Thanks for having us.
This is not the first time we have been blown away by the service or the food. 5 stars all day long.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was a great homely fee to it. We popped in for dinner and drinks and the food was pretty good.
I had the seafood chowder which was a little sparse on the protein, it tasted really really really good! My friends had the chicken Parma and also enjoyed their meals.
Good service and felt like a local.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to come here as long parents local many years ago. Glad to see it's been brightened up and is pleasantly open spaced and has lots of natural light in the big open bar area. There is a separate restaurant but only open mainly on the weekends. Very clean and nice toilet areas. Has typical TAB facilities, pool table, dart boards and Pokie machine room. Very much a sports bar feel to it. Nice bar staff, lots of on site car parking and a garden bar area around the back.
