About Mellons Bay School
School Pool
We are very proud to have our school pool, especially in times, where most schools are closing their pools. We value swimming as an essential life skill and believe, that learning to swim as a child helps saves lifes. As well as student use during school hours, the pool is available for private use outside school hours. This is usually available to our local community from the end of November until March each year, or as advised by the school. In November 2013 the school installed pool heating. This will allow the season to be extended. Exact dates of opening and closing of the pool is determined on an annual basis. Pool keys can be purchased from the office during the swim season for the small cost of $70 (this includes a $10 refundable key bond).
