"I love my MeloYelo. In another life I might have dreamt of owning a motorbike for feelings of freedom and excitement. Nowadays, the joints are a little creaky and life is more about contentment and comfort than speed. Somehow, more about the journey than the arrival. Still, there remains a thirst for adventures and new possibilities so I did the research and found I had options. I bought a MeloYelo and there it was: Freedom, but at my own pace. A little bit of speed but not out of control and not least, a little bit of bling with quirky but classy design. My smoky blue Tranzit has looks and function.
A whole new world of NZ's natural wilderness has opened up for me, on beautiful trails I would never have access to on foot these days. But I'm also an urban girl. I feel alive in the city I live in, making use of new cycleways amongst cyclists of all ages, enjoying a feeling of community, the cityscapes, the harbour, the joy of exercise, friends who also bike, coffee, and perhaps even being a small part of a movement towards better and sustainable city living. Who needs a Harley? Buying my MeloYelo has felt really good and it has enriched my live in so many ways."

β β β β β I am the very happy owner of a Traverse Mountain bike which I bought from Bruce in March 2019. I previously had an Evocity which was great for around town and gentle trails, but was looking for a bike that could handle the tougher conditions. I had only had it 2 days when I took it out on the Timber Trail, a great 2 day test for it! It handled the track no sweat and passed other e bikes on our ride with ease when on the steep uphill sections. I felt confident on the tight turns and we had rain on the second day that gave us wet, slippery conditions and I felt safe at all times. The battery lasted easily each day. I like the way I don't have to have the motor on all the time as it is easy to cycle. Bruce made the process of buying the bike very comfortable and I never felt pressured. He and Nancy even came all the way across town to deliver it for me!

β β β β β I purchased the Ascent M D in December 2021. Since then we have biked the Dunstan and A2Ocean plus various other South Island trails. My bike was a delight to ride. I never ran out of battery even on the challenging 85km day. I love my bike and highly recommend it to anyone considering ebiking. Nigel Mannering our agent in Napier has been exceptional in the service he provided. Thanks meloyelo!
