Food was really good, a different take on Filipino cuisine. We ordered the Chicken Inasal and Honey Soy Squid. We will definitely come back again. Plus, Chef Leo came out to see all his customers and had a chat with all of us.

I've had dinner at the Melting Pot many times. The food here is divine! You really can't go wrong with any dish on the menu.

Friendly staff and good value for money. Generous portions, but flavours are a bit hit and miss.

Googled 'Filipino restaurants in Panmure' and Melting Pot came up. Booked a table for 3. Arrived, ordered, feasted on roast pork, soft shell crab, fried trevally, pineapple chicken. Thought to self, "Wow, this is wayyy better than the usual Filipino fare I've eaten!" Turns out.. Melting Pot is owned by @MasterChefNZ finalist Leo Fernandez, who used to operate the now defunct Azon on Parnell Rd... and having dined at Azon, I can say Melting Pot is HEAAAAAPS better. It's got my #omnomnom seal of approval! What a gem of a find. So if you're keen to try Filipino cuisine and don't mind traveling to Panmure (Jellicoe Rd) - Melting Pot is worth your money and time! Trust me - Your tastebuds will thank you for it.

It's located by the big Panmure roundabout, across the street from the AA. There are 3 or 4 parking spots just outside the restaurant which is convenient if you can get one. The dining area is fairly big so it can accommodate larger groups. They also had a few items for sale at the counter including pandesal. The menu is a combination of different Asian dishes including Indonesian, Filipino and Japanese. I tried the siu mai along with the Filipino BBQ pork belly and Mami noodle soup. I loved the pork belly. It was smokey and sweet and did come with rice. The siu mai was alright, the same with the mami noodle. Food is nice but it is a bit hard to get to. They are generally open just for dinner, with lunch (from 12) on the weekends. Service was really good with the right amount of friendliness.

We had kikiam, cheese sticks with delicious unlimited sawsawan. Main dish was Crispy pata which is delicious to the bones. ? Most importantly, staff were nice.

A small menu, but good variety of proper Filipino food. Small portions, but quite filling. We went on a really cold evening, and for some reason the heater was off, which didn't make it enjoyable, so don't fo on a cold day. But you should go and try it. Nice
