β β β β β My experience at Mercy was from beginning to end top notch! The staff were all very friendly and informative at every stage of my stay from admission to discharge. The theater staff were extremely calming and kept me informed at all times. The food was beyond excellent, my room was quiet and very comfortable. I couldn't find fault in any aspect of my stay if I tried.

β β β β β To be honest, i don't have the words to describe how highly impressed I was with the level and standard of care that i received during my stay at the Hospital after having a major spine surgery a few days ago. From my admission, during my stay and discharge. I will forever be in your debt. I wish If I only could thank each and everyone of you in person. Thank you...

β β β β β Worst stay in hospital ever. If you can go to a public hospital do so.
Stayed over night for foot surgery. $5000 for theatre and Accomodation cost. The accomodation was appalling. I was in room with 2 others so was constantly woken during the night with the nurses attending to me and the other 2 patients which was all night as each patient was looked at at different times. Each time the lights came on, so consequently no sleep. Breakfast the next morning was 2 dollops of cold scrambled eggs and 1 and a half slices of toast cut into 3 triangles.
Was scheduled to discharged by 10 the next morning after seeing a physio who was going to show me how to manage the crutches and how to get in and out of a chairs and into bed etc. No physio showed up. Nurse kept asking me if Iβd seen the physio. It might have been helpful if she could have made sure the physio came. The nurses were pleasant but rushed off their feet and severly short staffed. Iβm not sure what happened to the physio, I suspect they didnβt have enough to cover the amount of patients.
I would accept this sort of scenario in a public hospital but not one charging a huge amount of money for a stay that was barely 24 hours. Management need to employ more staff .
At 10.30 we gave up just left without seeing one. It states in their admission form that discharge after 10am might incur extra charges. Really? It might be helpful if they could get their discharge process completed before the stated time.
Will never stay at Mercy Mountain Road again

β β β β β I had spinal surgery proformed here at Mercy Ascot mid June 2018
I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience was due to the amazing caring staff on my ward St Cecila
It was like being in first class on a airplane.?
The staff were genuinely happy to help anyway possible.
My partner & family paid to have meals with me at night the staff were only too happy to bring them to us after the rest of the ward had dined.
The meals were delicious too.
If I could rate this hospital 10/10 I would.
Thanks to each and everyone at Mercy Ascot I will never forget your kindness

β β β β β The whole process from first meeting the surgeon through to having all the scans completed in one day and then surgery and recovery was great whilst staying in Mercy Hospital. The aftercare is amazing from the cleaners, food staff, drug people and also obviously all the different nurses that cared for me over those 5 nights. It is a lot easier to recover if the environment is calm. They even gave me a call to see if i was doing fine the following day which was cool #BACKFUSION
