MOTORHOMES AND CARAVANS
Merit RV is owned and operated by Nathan and Nicola Butler, who have over 19 years experience in the industry and are well qualified to advise customers of the features and benefits of owning a motorhome, or caravan. They are aptly supported by Ken McLean who has a even more experience in motorhoming and brings a fresh perspective to customer service. Neil and Christina are also part of the Merit RV family, and along with Gordon in the workshop they are certainly kept on their toes.
In 2005 the yard was doubled in size to provide one of the largest selections of quality brand new and second hand Swift motorhomes, caravans and campervans in New Zealand. These include the fantastic range of Swift Explorer caravans and Swift Voyager motorhomes.

Merit RV is an approved Swift Group agent in New Zealand. We have a range of Swift Motorhomes and Swift Caravans direct from the manufacturer Swift Group, UK. These include the Kontiki, Bolero, Escape, Sterling, Sprite and Bessacarr brand. Swift Group are the largest recreational vehicle manufacturer in England. "We have researched the market and are convinced we are now offering some of the best value new caravans and new motorhomes available in New Zealand."

It was a choice between two competing company's vans and although the one we finally chose was more expensive it was the great service provided by MeritRV that determined our choice. β β β β β I purchased a new Swift Conqueror 650 Caravan three years ago from an Otago Dealer and when I asked for an Owners Handbook/Manual was told, sorry, not available. Everything is online. I recently rediscovered Merit RV in New Plymouth, Swift caravan dealers, and on an off chance rang Nathan to see if an Owners Handbook/Manual was available. Yes, we have them available. Nathan could not have been more helpful. He Couriered the Manuals to me that day and I received then a couple of days latter. No cost to me at all, so a Great effort from Merit RV and one very happy Southern Caravan owner.
