The services from Michael Holmes are great. They respond emails quickly. Their shipping partner is good, and shipping was very fast. It’s great experience getting eye exams and purchasing contact lenses with Michael Holmes. Recommend.

The staff were really helpful, patient and friendly throughout the whole process - from helping me choose a frame design to getting appropriate lenses and fitting the finished frames. The team here personally made sure I was taken care of - I highly recommend trying this optometrist if you are looking for very well made frames and excellent service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall experience was average as I was expecting premium service and product based on the number of 5 star google reviews and raving comments. I had my lenses replaced on my existing Bailey Nelson frames. The level of service was on par with Bailey Nelson and OPSM both in terms of communication and accuracy of testing with the optometrist. I felt they could reduce the amount of stressing on how my frames were from another company and the quality was inferior to theirs which meant that they couldn’t guarantee the frame wouldn’t break when the technician put new lenses in. This was repeated to me about 4-5 times by different people. First on the phone, then by the optometrist and again by the receptionist and when arranging to pick up and then again at the pick up. Totally understand their need to indemnify themselves but it felt like they were trying to sell their frames. The emphasis on how my frame was not theirs extended to the suggestion that I don’t really need to have the glasses fitted as it’s my own frames, I had to tell them in my experience the glasses usually need adjusting after the technician have changed the lenses. Then surprisingly at the fitting, the person also mentioned these were my own frames and shouldn’t need adjusting. It also seemed stingy that for a business claiming to offer premium service and glasses, they couldn’t offer a spare case for my glasses. Not that I needed another one, and I would have declined the offer anyway, but just saying the gesture of showing some generosity is important for a business. I am happy with the replacement although I don’t feel like this optometrist is any better than the others that I have tried. The biggest difference is their prices are higher and their frames sound high quality but are very expensive. I tried here because they were closer to me and I needed it urgently but anyone not prepared to shell out over $800 for glasses wouldn’t find their pricing suitable.
