★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whilst others bookings were full for a week in advance I was able to book in the next day. The service was great and they took my vehicle to the testing station next door for my WOF recheck. The charge was very reasonable and I an happy with standard of workmanship.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an extremely positive and efficient experience with these guys. I am a backpacker from the USA and I have noticed that mechanics tend to take advantage of travelers. These guys were extremely, professional, friendly and punctual. After they looked at my van I got extremely helpful advice from the mechanic on how to proceed with repairs in my circumstance. They gave me cost estimates and told me what was worth fixing since I am only going to own the van for a short time. All in all these are stand up guys and I would highly recommend a visit if you need a mechanic.

I found the staff were very helpful and gave an honest appraisal of what needed to be done on the day to stay safe and what is needing to be done once I get back to my destination. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is rare for me to be completely blown away by good service, but if I could give these guys 10 stars it still wouldn't be enough. I drove away, not only gobsmacked by their thoughtfulness and kindness, but also wondering how I could pass it on, it was so amazing. It turns out there are good people in the world, and some of them work at Midas, Whangarei. Thank you very very very much. (They were also, incidentally, really quick and really good value.)
