β β β β β Loved our holiday in our camper. Service was great at Queenstown branch - fast pick up. Camper was a 4berth Britz that had everything we needed in it. Camper was clean and easy to manage. We Travelled up through Mackenzie region and stayed in both powered site campgrounds and freedom camping and vehicle was perfectly equipped for both. The THL App was fantastic for all info we needed for our trip. You could search up anything, read reviews and get directions. Canβt wait to travel this way again. Thanks for a great hassle free holiday.

β β β β β The experience of a campervan holiday was excellent. It was well equipped with everything we needed for cooking. The heating was good and everything was simple to use.
We were disappointed with how uncomfortable the beds were, in particular the permanent double bed at the end of the camper, the mattress was very old and well used. All you could feel was the springs digging into your back when lying on it.
We also expected the camper to be cleaner when picking it up, there were crumbs etc through the cupboards, the fridge had a terrible odour and the general state of the camper was dirty. This was quite disappointing particularly at the moment when hygiene is paramount.

β β β β β Being 1st timers hiring a campervan we found the staff very helpful with showing us the basic operations & gave us good advice on the rental agreement / returning to Christchurch depot.
The only complaint I have is the courtesy vehicle was unavailable to take us from Queenstown airport to the Mighty depot.
We were told it had been damaged in a recent storm, could be a good idea to invest in a 2nd vehicle.
Overall very happy & are looking to book a camper for the next trip.

β β β β β Disappointed at the cleanliness of the campervan we hired - pretty grubby in some areas including what appeared to be hot chocolate runs down the side of a cupboard, food remnants underneath the microwave and I don't think behind the TV had been dusted in the van's life time.
Apart from this, my hubby and I had a great trip (once I'd cleaned)
Might think twice about picking up from Queenstown as a whopping $95 location fee was added to the bill.

β β β β β We rented a camper for our trip around New Zealand. These campers are really well maintained, clean and have everything you need for cooking, sleeping, navigation etc. We loved having the camper as it gave us far more flexibility in our travels. Being a self contained camper, we were able to stay in the many freedom campsites available throughout New Zealand as we had everything we needed in the van.
The customer service, pick up and return process was great. We were given a quick demonstration on how everything worked and then we were on our way. Similarly, the return process was efficient and staff were friendly and helpful. From the Christchurch drop off there is a free shuttle bus to the airport which was really handy for us.
Would definitely recommend and would book again for our next trip.

β β β β β We had a fantastic experience in our camper, cruising the bottom of the South Island.
The camper was in excellent condition, everything we needed on board and the instructional videos made managing the waste, water and charging processes super easy.
Having the price so competitive at the moment encouraged us to use our weeks holiday in a far different way than we usually would, and weβd do it again.

β β β β β Our first ever camper van holiday. As borders are closed we decided to go to some of the places we had not been to in the South Island. I was like a kid in a candy shop, couldn't wait to collect the van. We loved it so much we are booking a long weekend later in the year. Was easy to get around and was great ending up in the camping grounds and meeting lots of interesting people.
The service was fantastic, even taking the van back was quick and easy. Thanks to the Team @ Queenstown. Well done.
