I visited Miyabi a couple of days ago for team lunch from work. I didn't know about this place until work introduced me for the lunch of course. It's situated in an alley and was really cute. It's a family run restaurant. Cute vibes, had Japanese interiors and vibe was nice and welcoming. I wasn't that hungry so I ordered the Karage Chicken and a small salad as you can see. The chicken was nice and crispy and Salad was well seasoned. One of my colleagues got the sashimi Platter, her Platter looked really nice and she really enjoyed her lunch, so can recommend that if you are pescetarian. I am not - so just going by her reviews. It looks like a neat place for students to hangout and chill.

When you're paying $26 for sweet and sour pork, you'd expect some form of quality. Yet what we were served was similar to that of buffet restaurants. Dry and just not very nice.

They provide great options of lunch special. My husband especially likes the beef noodles. It was made with hand-pulled noodles which are full of flavor. The beef was cooked well too, particularly when you pull some sesame oil on it. Will come again for other dishes.

They were very busy. However we found the food, delivery and service very well above average and we would return back there many more times if we had the choice. Well done Myabi. We enjoyed it and found the value exceptional.

Miyabi was lovely. I took my partner here for dinner. The takoyaki (deep fried octopus meatballs) are so good. The teriyaki chicken was delicious as well. Well cooked rice and a crisp salad and miso soup on the side. Finished off with a refreshing green tea. Highly recommended.

Was searching for some takeaway dinner while in Wellington for work and found Miyabi. It's a very friendly little restaurant with tasty Japanese food, I'm really happy I found this place. This is my (vegetarian) dinner.
