★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great setup allowing you to order as few (or as many!) pieces of sushi as you’d like. A wide variety of choices, with many tasty vegan options. Amazingly cheap prices for great tasting sushi, I don’t think I can go anywhere else for sushi after eating here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ TJ Katsu is a magnificent sushi place.There is no doubt in my mind that it is the best sushi place in Wellington. The teriyaki chicken sushi is phenomenal. If you need a fuller meal, the rice and noodle boxes are jaw droppingly good. The salmon is always fresh, and not too fishy tasting. The springrolls are just incredible. This is my favourite place to eat, and I will return here at least once a week. Just phenomonal food and service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Katsu chicken was dry and thin. Sauce that coated it was so salty it was over powering. The upon soup was peppery and could not consume the soup portion
The noodles were ok but the chopsticks were stainless steel and difficult to use. Price was average but won't be returning
