★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I noticed our spa pool which we have had for two years making an unusual sound. Concerned I phoned Matt from Moana Spas in Mt Maunganui. He was is in our area and kindly offered to pop round and have a look. He was there with 10 minutes, had a look, took apart a section of spa, found the problem and fixed it. Thanks soooo much Matt, you are amazing!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had seen the Omaha spa pool advertised on their website for $7990 . Got in contact with Matt and discussed getting that model at that price and meeting him the next day to sort the deal out . After meeting him and having a look at the spa we sat down to sort out payment. We were then instructed that the price had gone up to $9990 .they had pulled a swift one and changed the price on the website that morning or night before.( It was now showing $9499) . Very disappointed we left and purchased elsewhere.

Just cheap Chinese product as best I can tell and not specifically built for NZ as advertised. Look underneath and no extra insulation. I doubt the cover could have been made any cheaper. I guess you get what you pay for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Warning: Do not buy from Moana. We bought a new spa but the heater broke within the warranty period and they refuse to honour the warranty. We took them to the small claims court and won but still nothing from them. Now, we have to go through the civil enforcement procedures and have bayliffs seize their property to cover the cost. The owner suddenly can't speak any English during most communications. They're unethical and a nightmare to deal with. Take heed of this warning and you won't have to go through what we have.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are nice to start with but if you have a warranty claim don’t bother! They do not stand by their shell warranty! My shell started bubbling last January and still today I am waiting for a replacement spa under their 5 Year shell warranty! They don’t respond or look after their customers! Would never deal with again.
