★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful spot for an out-of-the-ordinary beer (lychee lager was my latest pick of choice). There’s a great feeling of community at Moon Under Water - you might not know half the people in the room, but it somehow feels like they’re all acquaintances. This might be due to the multiple events the bar organises, or the catering it offers to dogs (some raw possum treats for sale). Only drawback is I still feel some beers are, without justification at times, on the higher end of the price range. Overall - If you like craft beer and want a casual relaxed outing on that end of Christchurch; this is your spot ??

Took my wee mate Sam (mini Schnauzer) with me and had a damn good burger and chips and 2 stunning beers.
If you can get a seat you have to give this place a go.
You won't regret it.
