Asian fusion restaurant helpfully positioned next to the Moon Under Water bar. I had the Nutty Noodles which were very good - especially given the price paid (which was around the $16 mark if I remember rightly). Good combination of flavours with just the right amount to spice (for me). Didn’t try the deserts. Beer selection includes the well known Asian beers (TsingTao, Asahi etc) - as well as some “house” tap beers that I didn’t recognise. The atmosphere can be described as casual - a bit noisy due to the tiled floor etc but we didn’t find this too problematic. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

Really yummy deep fried tofu and Vietnamese spring onions, no chop sticks surprisingly but then again I can't use them ?

It was my first time eating here and all I can say is good food. Especially the Phad Thai, Phad Thai is my favourite so I do compare with every places Ive been to. I must say the Phad Thai here is now included on my top Phad Thai restaurants around Christchurch. However, I am not complaining but I dont know if it was over sauced or too oily, either way it was great. It has a good atmosphere and a vibe along with a great costumer service. I don't know his name but the man on today's shift ( tuesday night) deserved a praise. He explained the menu quite well and asked for any feedbacks etc. My partner and I will definetely come for more. ?

Terrible place. I rung to see how to use a gift voucher online. They told me they didn't know and Couldn't help. Ended up ordering online takeaways and paying cash, were given a time of 6 20 pm to pick up. Husband went to get the food and rung me to say they couldn't find the order, lady rung manager who went on the computer and got it. Husband then had to sit for 15 minutes whilst they cooked the order. No apology given. The food was OK but rushed and vegetables were rock hard, I emailed the manager to complain and have not heard anything back at all. Terrible customer service

Walked in 5.30 Sunday night.. 1 couple there. Greeted very abruptly by unfriendly look. Almost like we were not wanted. She assumed we had takeaways and when I said no we would like a table still no greeting or smile...very unfriendly. She pointed to tiny table for 2 by inside wall. We asked if we could sit by window...ohh no we had to have by wall. No.people apart for 1 couple .. no reserved signs on any tables but still no ... I felt very uncomfortable with her attitude and we walked out. We were also checking on restaurants for a family birthday party for 15 people.!!, absolutely not there. .

Another NZ ethnic restaurant where they assume the meat part of the meal is what you've ordered for. At home, we have Vietnamese spring rolls with fresh pickle, 5 different herbs, roasted peanuts, lime juice, but here it is mostly pork with a few carrots and cucumber sticks, lettuce, mint and dipping sauce. It's not bad by usual NZ standards and the "make your own" is a great idea, but overall the flavour is a far cry from actual Vietnamese food, or even our home made version.
