★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've stayed here for several years now, as a permanent resident. It's very well-run with an efficient manager - clean public rooms, good laundries and kitchen. I'd advise anyone wanting long-term accommodation to opt for one of the studios, which have a mezzanine as well as the downstairs, where there's an ensuite and fridge. Power, water, heating are all included in the rent. It's very good value for money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been looking for a quiet, flexible place for my specific situation at a time where I was bouncing jobs and I found just that in Morningside Lodge - Trudy, the manager was very accomodating and fair and the place was quiet an people were friendly. I am definitely recommending this place !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have lived here now for 8 months and don't plan to move anytime soon. The Morningside lodge has alot of character to offer, always well maintained and really makes your stay comfortable. Great value for money considering the location and your own privacy. The managers are very nice and helpful and definitely take good care of tenants and the lodge. Situated in a great location, with walking distance to St.Lukes mall, Morningside train station and to Mt. Eden Park. You are very spoiled for choice when living here as you are mins close to other central suburbs and restaurants and cafés. Definitely recommend staying here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yea it was really good actually enjoyed my stay really friendly people everythings easy and accessible. I think the best thing is nobody disturbs you its clean and affordable and you have your own space and facilities to your self ? would highly recommend & stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed there for just over a year. Rooms have their own bathroom and fridge which was great. Managers were helpful and responsive. Walking distance to Morningside train station and St Luke's shopping mall. Would recommend staying there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been here just over 2 yrs am loving it don't plan to move. Managers are so friendly & helpful. Myself being Deaf they step up communicate the best they can we understand each other very well. The lodge is awesome very clean Trudy is always buzzing around fixing or cleaning or just stops to chat. The rooms are of a good size set up comfortably. Other tenants are friendly it's a happy place. We each look out for each other. I feel safe & part of a great community. I also love that we are close to the mall & transport
