★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seriously one of the best places to visit in Coromandel. If you don't have time to do the long 6-7 hours pinnacles track, do this. Short, steep though. Amazing 360 view. We got up to the summit in about 40-45 minutes. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice hike to do. You've to be kind of fit to do this hike. Due to logging work going on I had to walk the first 3km of gravel road before the Castle Rock track starts. It's a hard track to walk make sure you bring good shoes.
