★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mount Brown hike is great but very steep and muddy hike through the rainforest. The hike is maybe too muddy and unmanageable after heavy rain. If you fit enough you can reach the top in about 2,5 - 3 hours. Way back takes about half the time. Otherwise staying overnight at Mount Brown hut is possible, a nice experience as well. The little orange Mt Brown hut is adorable and very comfortable with small fireplace in the centre. There are 4 beds, first come, first serve. Totally recommend and worth all the afford.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hut with decent a toilet only 20 meters down the hill. Also has enough flat ground in vicinity to comfortably sleep in the tent in case the hut is full.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The track is muddy and occasionally unclear, but the views from the top are worth it. This can easily be a day walk if you don't feel like staying overnight, too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2-4 hours of arduous tree root climbing. Steep but tracked out. Not as commercial as other Hutt routes, simply beautiful! The Hutt has a burner and 4 bunks with a long drop toilet.
