★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During April - It was a very beautiful view was a little foggy, very cold recommended not wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Very short walk from car park but drive up is quite long. First photo shows view away from the mountain and the second photo is showing towards Mount Egmont but is covered in fog.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Take a little time to drive up to this viewing platform for amazing views of Mount Egmont and the surrounding mountains, woods, and countryside.
It is a very short and easy walk from the parking area to the platform to take in the panoramic views.
There is a round marker in the center of the platform with directions and distances to other local sights.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came after the rain, very foggy and can't really see much of the landscape. The viewing platform is just a short and easy walk from the huge parking. We had the whole place to ourselves, probably because of the long drive and rain. Toilet facility available at the Parking. This is also the Trail Head for few of the Mt Egmont walks.
