★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got here via the scenic lake cruise. The place is beautiful. They'd tell you how they run the farm. We got to meet some merino sheep and sheepdogs. The tour was very informative. They show you how much wool they get from a single sheep, when they get sheared, wheee they supply the merino wool, etc. You'd also see some sheepdogs training.
Then we got on a 4×4 and drove up to the top of Mt.Nicholas. You'd see manuka trees and hereford cows along the way. The views on top were amazing. Be sure to bring a windproof jacket, it was cold and windy when we were there in April.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This farm is 100,000 acres with 28,000 Merino sheep! It's a real working farm not a petting farm. The cruise across the stunning Lake Wakatipu is amazing, and the farm experience was even better! An authentic kiwi experience. You can even make your own sandwich for lunch there (included in the price). Highly recommended for all. Suitable for small children, too.
