★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good short hike with great views. We did the climb in 30 minutes instead of the estimated 45 at a normal pace. You cannot do the loop after 5pm but it's worth the view to walk until you can't go further and retrace your steps to go back down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning views over Lake Tekapo and beyond. Walking along the track is a fantastic way to appreciate the beautiful landscapes and natural environment. It's a gentle uphill climb so best for those with moderate fitness levels. It can also be fun to go horse-riding in the area.
