★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Namaste Kitchen is one of the moderate Indian restaurant in Hamilton. If you want to taste Indian food when you are at University. This is the right place. Vegetarian and non vegetarian menus are available. Prices are really cheap. You can get takeaway also. Not opened on weekends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small, run-down Indian restaurant in the heart of Waikato University campus. The curry is average at best, the food is often old, the tables and environment is always filthy and overrun with rubbish. Probably one of the worst Indian restaurants in Hamilton but it appears cheap due to the portion sizes available when really it's a price gouge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thrilled to find an authentic Indian restaurant after a campus tour. This place it really needs an update it’s in a rundown building. The owner does not accept credit cards only New Zealand currency or NZ bank cards which is a huge inconvenience. After locating an atm and getting charged $7 in fees I give her the $23 she is asking for, for a plate of chicken curry and a stewed lamb dish with four drinks. The food was decent but the customer service was awful in the sense she didn’t try to explain anything to me given I obviously don’t understand the currency differences. Nor did she direct me to an atm or offer an alternative. Plus she also had two small children running in the back while trying to conduct business a bit distracting but hey to each their own.
