Excellent value for money. We’ve been before but came back since having kids and great to see new exhibits and a kids exploring area. Good combination of reading, hands on and audio visual exhibits. Well thought out plus a great cafe with excellent food.

Always a great place to stop. After the long stretch that is the desert road, I always like to stop here for a freshen up. The kids always love the stop and a climb over the old tanks outside. The museum itself is absolutely stunning. A great stop for anyone interested in our involvement in battles or history in general.

The National Army Museum tell stories and good for kids to have knowledge about country warriors history. Is open every day from 9 am to 4:30 pm and the prices good for everyone! Also, you spends 1-1.5 hours in Museum and you can have a good memory photos outside and inside.

Well worth a stop if you’re passing through, I recommend getting a guided tour, very informative everything, tidy build displays, friendly staff. Weβ€˜ve also had a meal at the Cafe there food was great, we enjoyed their Potatoes a lot. If you’re Gluten- free double check before ordering. Cheers

Very educational, displays put together very well, great array of products in the gift shop. Disappointed that there was no mention of the 21st Battalion, as my father served with it, but guess that is because of the display at the Auckland War Memorial Museum.

Great Museum and well worth the visit - will be going back again as there was so much to see and take in. Really liked the way it was laid out, lots going on in each of the exhibits. Could explore the history of the Army and how it was formed, some great exhibits too. Cafe and Gift shop are worth it, good prices and plenty to choose from. Food and drink nice too.
