“I came for lunch by myself here while visiting for work after being recommended by a friend. Will definitely be back. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Didn't make me feel awkward dining alone at all. Food wait time was reasonable, and the chicken salad dish I had was very tasty and fresh. Really the nicest thing I've eaten in a while. “We naturally did our homework and followed the fab reviews to come here. What separated it from a couple of other contenders too though was the early Sunday open and the pancakes. It definitely didn’t disappoint. Eating is weird in these covid times but Neo was worth the effort. We ordered the pancakes, the full keto breakfast and straight scrambled eggs with GF polenta bread and bacon and everything was amazing. You know how sometimes you can eat a full English style breakfast and it can leave you feeling full bit a little greasy after - we’ll this just doesn’t. The free range ingredients really make a difference, the taste is just extra and we felt really clean afterwards. The menu is simple - but done seriously well. Awesome Supreme coffee. Staff were fab, really accommodating and friendly despite being in demand and again under the level 3 pump. Loved it.”

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to breakfast, not expecting much but knowing it was an award winner. I had the apple crumble pancakes and was absolutely blown away. The flavours fit together like a jigsaw puzzle, I nearly asked if I could get a takeaway container of the crumble pieces! I highly recommend this place if you're ever on willis Street!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great wee Cafe, awesome window bench seat to sit and work / study. Good food but a bit more on the expensive side, even for welly - and good coffee if not the best in the city. Overall fantastic atmosphere and service is always super friendly and welcoming.

I do wish there were slightly more Vegan options as the Vegan breakfast wasnt that big... nor did the other two Vegan options seem. But the taste was great overall (the fries too)!
Serves Supreme Coffee, pretty good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Neo cafe yesterday with my granddaughter. The place was busy and the atmosphere buzzy. We both loved our meals. My granddaughter had the potato salad and I had the avocado on toast. The service was excellent. When we are in Wellington again, Neo will certainly get a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A group of 7 of us turned up last weekend not expecting to get a table (we had tried to go elsewhere but turns out the other place didn't receive our booking), the staff at Neo were incredibly accommodating of our large group. Service and food were excellent, we got the breakfast bagel with a side of black pudding and the apple crumble pancakes. Easily one of the best cafes in Wellington

Breakfast bagel was incredible, it was very flavourful and was a decent size. Eggs bene was also great with a unique and tasty hash brown base.
This spot is quite busy at brunch time so be prepared to wait a little bit before getting a seat.
